  1. This Privacy Policy sets forth the rules for the processing of personal data obtained through the avpots.com online store, hereinafter referred to as the Store.

  1. The company attaches great importance to respecting the privacy of customers who visit the Store.

§ 1. How do we collect data?

  1. The wholesaler collects information that pertains to:
  • natural persons performing a legal act not directly related to their business,
  • natural persons conducting a business or professional activity on their own behalf,
  • natural persons representing legal entities,
  • organizational entities that are not legal persons, to which the law grants legal capacity, conducting business or professional activities on their own behalf,

Hereinafter referred to collectively as Customers.

  1. Customers’ personal information is collected in the case of:
    1. Registration of an Account in the Store,
    2. placing an Order in the Store.
  1. When registering an Account in the Store, the Customer provides:
    1. email address,
    2. name.
  1. When registering an Account with the Store, the Customer independently sets an individual password to access his/her account. The customer may change the password at a later time according to the rules described in § 4.
  1. When placing an order in the Store, the Customer provides the following data:
    1. email address,
    2. name,
    3. phone number,
    4. address and company details or home address,
    5. delivery address.
  1. In the case of Entrepreneurs, the above scope of data is further expanded to include:
    1. Entrepreneur’s company name and address,
    2. taxpayer identification number (VAT).
  1. When using the Store’s websites, additional information may be collected, in particular: the IP address assigned to the Customer’s computer or the external IP address of the Internet provider, domain name, browser type, access time, type of operating system.
  2. We may also collect navigational data, such as information about the links and references that the Customer chooses to click on, or about other activities that are performed in our Store.
  3. On our sites, third parties place information in the form of cookies (so-called cookies) and regarding other similar technologies on your terminal device (for example, computer, smartphone) and access them. The aforementioned entities are our trusted partners with whom we continually collaborate to customize and tailor advertisements on our and their sites to meet your needs and interests, as well as the services we offer and our trusted partners offer. § 2. How do we use the collected data?

  1. In the case of registration of an Account in the Store, Customers’ data are used to create an individual Account and to manage this Account:
    1. After making a purchase in the Store, your personal data may be transferred to a courier company for delivery of the ordered goods.
  1. Navigational information may be used to provide better service to customers, analyze statistical data and adjust the way the Store operates to customers’ preferences, as well as administer the Store.

§ 3. Cookie mechanism, IP address

  1. The store uses small files, called cookies. They are stored by the Wholesaler on the computer of the person visiting the Store, if the Internet browser allows it. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which it originated, its “expiration time,” and an individual random number that identifies the cookie. The information collected with this type of files helps to customize the products offered by the Wholesale Store to the individual preferences and real needs of visitors to the Store. They also provide the opportunity to develop general statistics of visits to Products presented in the Store.
  1. Wholesale uses two types of cookies:
    1. Session cookies: when the session of a particular browser ends or the computer is turned off, the stored information is deleted from the device’s memory. The mechanism of session cookies does not allow the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from Customers’ computers.
    2. Persistent cookies: they are stored in the memory of the Customer’s terminal device and remain there until they are deleted or expire. The mechanism of permanent cookies does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be collected from Customers’ computers.
  1. The wholesaler uses cookies for:
    1. Authenticating the Customer in the Store and providing the Customer’s session in the Store (after logging in), thanks to which the Customer does not have to re-enter his/her login and password on each sub-page of the Store,
    2. to carry out analysis and research, as well as audience auditing, and in particular to create anonymous statistics that help to understand how the Store’s customers use the Store’s Website, which allows to improve its structure and content.
  1. Wholesale uses external cookies for:
    1. to popularize the Store using the social networking site facebook.com; administrator of external cookies: Facebook Inc. based in the USA or Facebook Ireland based in Ireland,
    2. collection of general and anonymous statistical data through Google Analytics analytical tools; administrator of external cookies: Google Inc. based in the USA,
    3. presenting multimedia content on the Store’s websites, which are downloaded from the external website youtube.com; the administrator of external cookies: Google Inc, based in the USA,
    4. To present advertisements tailored to the customer’s preferences using the Google AdSense online advertising tool; administrator of external cookies: Google Inc, based in the USA.
  1. The cookie mechanism is safe for the computers of the Store’s customers. It is not possible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to enter customers’ computers through this route. However, in their browsers, customers have the option to limit or disable access of cookies to computers. If you select this option, the use of the Store will be possible except for functions that by their nature require cookies.
  2. If you do not want to receive cookies, you can change your browser settings. We stipulate that disabling cookies necessary for authentication processes, ensuring security, maintaining user preferences may make it difficult, and in extreme cases even impossible, to use the websites.   3. The wholesaler may collect IP addresses of customers.

By IP Address is meant a number assigned to the computer of a person visiting the Store by an Internet Service Provider. The IP number allows access to the Internet. In most cases, it is assigned to a computer dynamically, that is, it changes each time it connects to the Internet, and for this reason it is commonly treated as non-personal identifying information.

The IP address may be used by the Wholesaler only:

  • When diagnosing technical problems with the server,
  • When creating statistical analyses (e.g., when determining from which regions we record the most visits),
  • As useful information for administering the Store and improving it,
  • for security purposes and possible identification of unwanted automatic programs overloading the server for browsing the Store’s content.
  1. The store contains links and references to other websites. The wholesaler is not responsible for the privacy policies on them.

§ 4. Data access and security

  1. Personal data collected by the Wholesaler through the Store are processed in accordance with the Law of August 29, 1997. On the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws 2014 item 1182 j.t.).
  1. Only authorized employees of the Wholesale Store have access to Customers’ personal data collected through the Store.
  1. The Wholesaler provides Customers who have an Account with continuous access to their personal data and the ability to modify it at any time. Access and modification of personal data are possible after logging into the Store Account. The customer has the option to delete personal data from the dataset. The Wholesaler may refuse to delete the Customer’s data if the Customer has violated the Store’s Rules and Regulations, and the preservation of the data is necessary to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to establish liability, and in particular to pursue the Wholesaler’s claims against the Customer in question.
  1. The Wholesaler never sends any correspondence, including electronic correspondence, asking for login credentials, especially the password to access the Customer’s account.

§ 5. Changes to Privacy Policy

  1. The privacy policy is subject to change, of which the Wholesaler will inform Customers 7 days in advance.
